250g pasta

2 can sardine in tomato sauce

1 onion (sliced thinly)

2 garlic (grated)

1 chilli (cut into half)

1 tbsp tomato paste

4 tbsp oil

1 tbsp Soya sauce

½ cup tomato sauce

Salt to taste

1 cup cheese (grated)

Boil water in a pot with salt and 2 tbsp of oil, to avoid the pasta pieces from sticking to each other.

When the water starts to boil, add in the pasta and cook until tender.

When the pastas are tender, it becomes translucent yellow.

Drain and keep aside.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan; add onions and chilli, fry until onions are golden brown.

Add in the garlic and tomato paste and fry further for a minute.

Finally add in sardines, Soya sauce, tomato sauce, salt to taste and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Remember, while putting salt that soya sauce is also salty and you have put salt to pasta as well.

Serve pasta with sardine sauce and cheese on top.

  1. Surprisingly good and easy to make. Just wash your hands carefully after handling chili!
