Fish Pizza

Making the pizza dough

1 cup warm water(105-115F)

3 cups all-purpose flour(but bread flour will give u a crisp one)

3 tbsp olive oil or 2 tbsp butter

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp yeast

Add salt,sugar and yeast into warm water and keep it for about 10 minutes.

Mix flour and olive oil in a bowl.

Pour in the water mixture little by little with mixing making sure you dont make it too wet.

Knead the dough with your hand until the dough is smooth.

Coat the dough with olive oil and cover with kitchen wrap or you can use a grocery bag too.

Let the dough to rise for about 1 hour or 1 1/2 hour.

Punch it down to deflate, and leave for another hour.

Put the dough on a lightly floured surface and stretch from center to outwards making a round shape.

Spread a bit at a time, by spreading half and leave for about 10 minutes and spread the remaining until the dough is 1/2 inch in thickness.

Pinch the very edges with your finger tips forming a lip as in pies.

Preparing the pizza topping

50g fish of your choice(cut into small cubes-1/2 inch)

1 large onion (finely chopped)

2 clove garlic (finely chopped)

2 capsicum (sliced)

1 tomato (chopped)

1/2 cup pizza sauce or tomato sauce

1 cup chedder cheese

1/2 tsp black pepper powder

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tbsp soya sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

salt to taste

Heat the oil in a pan and add in garlic.

After it is golden brown add in onion and capsicum.

Keep stiring to 2-3 minutes continuously and add in the tomato paste, tomatoes, chilli powder, pepper powder and keep stiring for a minute.

Add in the fish and cover.

cook in low heat stiring occasionaly for about 10 minutes or until cooked.

Add in the soya sauce and salt,remember not to put much salt as soya sauce is salty too.

Remove from heat and keep aside to cool.

Preparing the Pizza

Brush olive oil in the dough.

Spread tomato sauce on top of the dough.

Place the toppings on the pizza.

Finally sprinkle cheese on top.

Bake the pizza in an oven at 400-450F for about 15 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.

If you like to have more cheese sprinkle as desired at the end of the cooking time.

Your delicious pizza is ready to eat yummy…
